Who is the SignChick?

Suzanne Ballou Rowell, affectionately referred to as SignChick by some (okay, many), is owner and operator of Grey Wolf Graphics. Born and raised in Enfield, Connecticut. She graduated from Butera School of Art in Boston, Massachusetts in 1988, apprenticed with Little John's Signfactory in Enfield and spent a few years learning the basics at Richard Honan Sign Company in Winthrop, Massachusetts. After this she worked and helped manage Portelance Sign Company in Beverly, Massachusetts for 10 years.

With art in her veins she's always painted, drawn, danced, and played musical instruments. After playing flute for twelve years, she switched to acoustic guitar. Starting with classical guitar and currently taking lessons with a bluegrass flatpick guitar instructor for over two years.

She found art was her true calling early on and did what came naturally to her. Thus the success of Grey Wolf Graphics. Suzanne, along with her husband and son, happily reside in Newton, New Hampshire. Her loving shop dogs Rusty & Harley are constant companions. She has many loves but family, friends, music and a good margarita are at the top of the list!

A Note From Suzanne:
Special Thanks:
Besides family, there are other people who need to be thanked...

Thanks to all my loyal customers... Grey Wolf Graphics wouldn't survive without your support!

To Alyssa for writing my website bio and not making me sound like a dork! For the morning phone calls filled with laughter, the tears, the advice, the sleepovers, the muddy hikes, and for being the best damn girlfriend in the world.

To Ace & Charlene...there are not enough words for how special you both are to me.

To my Evil Twin... life would not be the same if I never met you.

To Randy for making me feel safe on the docks at Manchester Marine. For making me laugh so hard I have to stop painting, for the teasing, the bad jokes, the lunches, and for just being you.

To Lincoln... thanks for the music.

To Marisa for making this website both look great and work! Thanks for putting up with my endless emails of "move this or change that".

Love, Suzanne
